With his leg Dominique Hamby managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Barcelona Sporting Club's Fabian Aaron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in SAJUCH FC's zone, Garrett Kendrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominique Hamby came out of the goal and Garrett Kendrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, SAJUCH FC's goalkeeper Dominique Hamby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Aaron. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Aaron got free with Dominique Hamby in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Aaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Hamby having to interfere. SAJUCH FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Garrett Kendrick scored to the left of an out of position Dominique Hamby, making the score, 1-0. Mickey Haywood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dominique Hamby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Aaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Garrett Kendrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominique Hamby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominique Hamby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Kendrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
