The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jermaine Avila in the 3rd minute of play forced SAJUCH FC's goalkeeper Dominique Hamby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Vicente Cleveland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gooners's Lamar Winslow tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gooners getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edmundo Cooley hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Gooners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrence Ezell to maneuver through the defense. Gooners's Johnson Stanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Thorpe in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jermaine Avila in the 19th minute of play forced SAJUCH FC's goalkeeper Dominique Hamby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Hahn hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to SAJUCH FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mickey Haywood hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes SAJUCH FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Wolff. Merle Simon struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dominique Hamby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gooners. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jermaine Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gooners's supporters rose to their feet, but Jermaine Avila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Hamby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jermaine Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Jermaine Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gooners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jermaine Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jermaine Avila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominique Hamby was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jermaine Avila was the one to do the kick off. Dominique Hamby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 68 played minutes Gooners got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Cooley. Johnson Stanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Thorpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Giovanni Thorpe scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnson Stanton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jermaine Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Hamby having to interfere. After 81 played minutes, SAJUCH FC's Vicente Cleveland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johnson Stanton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAJUCH FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Thorpe in the 83rd minute of play forced Gooners's goalkeeper Johnson Stanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leroy Savage kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Dominique Hamby was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lamar Winslow. Jermaine Avila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominique Hamby came out and tried to block the shot, but Jermaine Avila slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 93rd minute. Gooners were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
