Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joey Stratton made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Peoria booed when Lake Odessa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jared Zeigler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Odessa AFC's Luis Hughes got a free kick in the 7th minute. Luis Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Madrid having to interfere. Joey Stratton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Park in the 17th minute of play forced Lake Odessa AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Bragg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Kauffman charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Kauffman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 48 minutes into the match, Lake Odessa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Park came free, but Brendon Bragg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lenny Park made the kick off in the second half. Peoria's Erik West suffered a sore knee after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 51 minutes into the game, Walker Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lake Odessa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peoria the free kick. Walker Hernandez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Brendon Bragg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thaddeus Byrd in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Peoria's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Stratton came free, but Otto Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Madrid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Kauffman in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Joey Stratton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otto Madrid was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 75 minutes into the match, Peoria's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Hughes came free, but Otto Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Madrid having to interfere. Otto Madrid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Stratton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Hughes in the 82nd minute of play forced Peoria's goalkeeper Otto Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Hughes scored 2-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otto Madrid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Stratton in the 92nd minute of play forced Peoria's goalkeeper Otto Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luis Hughes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lake Odessa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Hughes couldn't finish the play. In the 99th minute Joey Stratton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Madrid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lake Odessa AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peoria for a fine match.
