Spectators: 7322 (Terracing: 5822, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Whitt took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Connell in the 3rd minute of play forced Gotham City FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Faulkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Faulkner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Houston Bravo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Rigoberto Avery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Andersen having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Joseph McNally dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reynaldo Faulkner, 1-0. Rigoberto Avery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, I 69 I's Houston Bravo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Faulkner. Reynaldo Faulkner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph McNally got free with Reynaldo Faulkner in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Whitt struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tom Andersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gotham City FC. Gotham City FC's Wilfredo Clement quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rex Lucero, made in the 34th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Wilfredo Clement got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Albert Whitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I 69 I's Tom Andersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sam Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Andersen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, I 69 I's Scottie Iverson got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Albert Whitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Andersen was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Houston Bravo to make the kick off. I 69 I's Joseph McNally got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes I 69 I got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Greene. Wilfredo Clement struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tom Andersen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gotham City FC. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind I 69 I's goalkeeper Tom Andersen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reynaldo Faulkner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Houston Bravo in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Rigoberto Avery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Andersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Whitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tom Andersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Albert Whitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tom Andersen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gotham City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Whitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Andersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. I 69 I were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gotham City FC for a fine match.
