After 19 played minutes Lake Odessa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jake Kauffman. 21 minutes into the match, SAJUCH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Stratton came free, but Dominique Hamby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Joey Stratton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAJUCH FC's Dominique Hamby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SAJUCH FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aurelio Wolff hit a great ball. Joey Stratton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dominique Hamby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAJUCH FC's Dominique Hamby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Hughes in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lake Odessa AFC defense, Mickey Haywood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendon Bragg. The Lake Odessa AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendon Bragg should have stopped the shot. Mickey Haywood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Brendon Bragg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Odessa AFC's zone, Giovanni Thorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendon Bragg came out of the goal and Giovanni Thorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Thorpe to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, SAJUCH FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Hughes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. SAJUCH FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Joey Stratton scored to the left of an out of position Dominique Hamby, making the score, 1-2. If Mickey Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lake Odessa AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jake Kauffman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Odessa AFC's zone, Giovanni Thorpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendon Bragg came out of the goal and Giovanni Thorpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Wolff in the 83rd minute of play forced Lake Odessa AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Bragg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAJUCH FC's goalkeeper Dominique Hamby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to SAJUCH FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vern Herron hit a great ball. Dominique Hamby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Stratton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the game, Aurelio Wolff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAJUCH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lake Odessa AFC the free kick. Aurelio Wolff hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lake Odessa AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
