In the 22nd minute Ahmed Baca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Petersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammed Petersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asher Oliver in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Miami Heat FC's Merlin Collier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 30 minutes into the game, Trevor Griggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lombriga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miami Heat FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Lombriga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trevor Griggs to maneuver through the defense. When Bret Varner came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Miami Heat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bret Varner couldn't finish the play. Tyron Key sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miami Heat FC's Mohammed Petersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asher Oliver in the 42nd minute of play. Mohammed Petersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asher Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ahmed Baca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Petersen having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Baca to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lombriga FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Everett Mosley hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Derick Dye shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Boudreaux showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes Ahmed Baca rounded Miami Heat FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. In the 59th minute Ahmed Baca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Petersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asher Oliver got free with Mohammed Petersen in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Asher Oliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohammed Petersen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asher Oliver ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute of the match, Asher Oliver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mohammed Petersen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Asher Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lombriga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asher Oliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammed Petersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Gerry Mohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lombriga FC's Ahmed Baca got a free kick in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmed Baca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mohammed Petersen. That made the score 2-6 in the 90 minute of play. When Lombriga FC's Ahmed Baca in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Lombriga FC's Mohammed Petersen threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmed Baca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 97 minutes into the match, Ahmed Baca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohammed Petersen, 2-7.
