Collin Vang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Collin Vang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominique Hamby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Sherwood Compton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, SAJUCH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Collin Vang came free, but Dominique Hamby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Collin Vang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominique Hamby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, SAJUCH FC's Leroy Savage seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leroy Savage the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SAJUCH FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leroy Savage had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of SAJUCH FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Lechia Gdańsk a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cedric Lopez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SAJUCH FC's Dominique Hamby. 0-1. After 46 minutes of play, Lechia Gdańsk's Collin Vang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominique Hamby was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SAJUCH FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lechia Gdańsk were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Collin Vang to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lechia Gdańsk's Collin Vang got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Giovanni Toth fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechia Gdańsk's protests and gave Giovanni Toth a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Lechia Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Toth. Collin Vang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dominique Hamby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SAJUCH FC's Aurelio Wolff got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Collin Vang came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Lechia Gdańsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collin Vang couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darron Calderwood during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sherwood Compton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Hamby having to interfere. Mickey Haywood might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Todd Goins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechia Gdańsk's goalkeeper Todd Goins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lechia Gdańsk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
