Shaun Dobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Charlton Barrera notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Horus's Shaun Dobson. Shaun Dobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Stanley Urbina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Zeigler in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Blum saved Fruitvale AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Zeigler in the 37th minute of play forced Fruitvale AFC's goalkeeper Edward Blum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Charlton Barrera came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Fruitvale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlton Barrera couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Jesse Mayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horus's Shaun Dobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Mayer in the 68th minute of play. Clayton Zeigler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Wilmer Sutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horus's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilmer Sutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Blum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Blum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Sutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Wilmer Sutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Edward Blum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlton Barrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Shaun Dobson made a huge save. Horus's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
