Raul Meyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Rudolph Lusk made a huge save. C.J. French fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Lusk having to interfere. Shawnee AFC's Rudolph Lusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by C.J. French in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Randy Chacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Sora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Randy Chacon. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shawnee AFC's goalkeeper Rudolph Lusk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Stanton was the one to do the kick off. After 64 played minutes Sora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Whitehead. Terry Whitehead kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Shawnee AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Roy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, C.J. French managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but C.J. French was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolph Lusk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Shawnee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Sylvester came free, but Rudolph Lusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Rolando Sylvester left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sora AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The Sora AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
