Ituzaingó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamar Ackerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Lodhi FC's Gordon Grimes got control of the ball when Pedro Melendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Jamar Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Gordon Grimes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Ackerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute Denny Acero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Walden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Lodhi FC's goalkeeper Gordon Grimes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamar Ackerman. Conrad Ezell's late challenge caught a C. A. Ituzaingó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrad Ezell helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the match, C. A. Ituzaingó's Ervin McAllister broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pedro Melendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute Denny Acero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Walden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. Ituzaingó's Harry Walden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. Conrad Ezell kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. C. A. Ituzaingó were furious when Ervin McAllister was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C. A. Ituzaingó! The referee gave Lodhi FC a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Josiah Carney, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C. A. Ituzaingó's Harry Walden. 0-1. Sammy Morton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Walden having to make a save. Sammy Morton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Walden having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Pedro Melendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gordon Grimes. Lodhi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Melendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
