Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) Orono's Arturo Parish started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Parish in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Grimes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Lodhi FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrad Ezell. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Parish in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Grimes saved Lodhi FC from getting behind. Salvador Russo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Grimes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Russo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 15 minutes of play, Orono's Arturo Parish made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gordon Grimes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Parish in the 18th minute of play forced Lodhi FC's goalkeeper Gordon Grimes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Parish took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gordon Grimes. Gordon Grimes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Orono's J.P. Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Robison in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Arturo Parish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orono's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Parish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerard Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gordon Grimes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Lodhi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mason Barry came free, but Gordon Grimes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

A collision led to Lodhi FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wes Robison hit a great ball. Gordon Grimes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Barry in the 52nd minute of the match. If Salvador Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Grimes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Arturo Parish sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Parish in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gordon Grimes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 64th minute, Denny Acero made a precise shot to the right of J.P. Rubio. Orono's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Lodhi FC's Waldo Swenson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Arturo Parish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gordon Grimes made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrad Ezell during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denny Acero in the 82nd minute of play forced Orono's goalkeeper J.P. Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldo Swenson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Arturo Parish who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gordon Grimes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lodhi FC's Wes Robison got a free kick in the 91st minute. Salvador Russo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gordon Grimes having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Lodhi FC's zone, Arturo Parish stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Grimes came out of the goal and Arturo Parish tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Parish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gordon Grimes made a huge save. Orono's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
