Brent Tompkins's late challenge caught a Shawnee AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brent Tompkins helped the player get up and apologised. Shawnee AFC made a substitution. Kirk Watt replaced Austin Mullen. If Lonnie Ezell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Stanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reinaldo Stanton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathaniel Broussard having to make a save. If Nicky Corey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Shawnee AFC's goalkeeper Rudolph Lusk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Sawyer. David Sawyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rudolph Lusk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Shawnee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Corey came free, but Rudolph Lusk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Kirk Watt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathaniel Broussard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Shawnee AFC's goalkeeper Rudolph Lusk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Sawyer. Elias Jaramillo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The long shot by Joseph Holloway in the 36th minute really tested Rudolph Lusk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Nicky Corey fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Carbon FC's protests and gave Nicky Corey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Shawnee AFC booed when Port Carbon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Webber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nathaniel Broussard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lonnie Ezell went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicky Corey to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Roy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nathaniel Broussard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawnee AFC's Elias Jaramillo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Stanton struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nathaniel Broussard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shawnee AFC. 64 minutes into the match, Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Nathaniel Broussard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Stanton. Nathaniel Broussard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Roy in the 68th minute of the match. Reinaldo Stanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Reinaldo Stanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Broussard having to interfere. Leonard Roy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Port Carbon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Stanton came free, but Nathaniel Broussard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Roy kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Stanton in the 83rd minute of play forced Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Nathaniel Broussard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, David Sawyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rudolph Lusk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lonnie Ezell fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 90th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Reinaldo Stanton struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nathaniel Broussard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
