Jimmy Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rico Grace, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Mike Slaughter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shayne Gee was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 17thth minute of the game Geoffrey Pickett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sudaca 04's Shayne Gee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sheldon Boyce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabuco Highlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Sheldon Boyce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shayne Gee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Rico Grace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sudaca 04's Jimmy Cruz threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rico Grace, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Shayne Gee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Slaughter in the 26th minute of play. Trabuco Highlands's Jimmy Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Trabuco Highlands from getting a goal against them. Sudaca 04's Shayne Gee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Pickett in the 30th minute of play. Jimmy Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Grace in the 36th minute of the match. Trabuco Highlands's Sheldon Boyce got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Jonathon Moody made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Cruz. Trabuco Highlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 45 minutes into the game, Denver Neely recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmy Cruz. Denver Neely showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

The wind increased when Rico Grace made the kick off in the second half. Mike Slaughter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shayne Gee having to make a save. Trabuco Highlands's Jimmy Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jed Curtis in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Denver Neely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jimmy Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 59 in the game by Mike Slaughter from a close distance when the talented Shayne Gee managed to make a qualified save. Sudaca 04's players were relieved. 61 minutes into the match, Sudaca 04's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffrey Pickett came free, but Shayne Gee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Shayne Gee successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 73 minutes, Denver Neely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sudaca 04 and the Trabuco Highlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Sheldon Boyce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Pickett in the 76th minute of play forced Sudaca 04's goalkeeper Shayne Gee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sudaca 04 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jed Curtis hit a great ball. When Isidro Henry fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabuco Highlands's protests and gave Isidro Henry a yellow card for diving instead. Isidro Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Sudaca 04 booed when Trabuco Highlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickey Burke didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Sheldon Boyce got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Rico Grace fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudaca 04's protests and gave Rico Grace a yellow card for diving instead. Rico Grace kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mike Slaughter got free with Shayne Gee in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sudaca 04 were victorious despite being under pressure from Trabuco Highlands for much of the match.
