Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Smacker's Blair Franklin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Smacker got a freekick which was hit by Erik Baldwin. Maxwell Atwood was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Reggie Hager kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Weston Barton. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After 13 played minutes Smacker got a freekick which was hit by Odell Meyer. When Erik Baldwin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smacker's protests and gave Erik Baldwin a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Baldwin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, ROCHES's Von Marrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ken Tillman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Henry Cote took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ken Tillman. Smacker's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Arthur Galvan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ROCHES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Galvan couldn't finish the play. If Von Marrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Von Marrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ken Tillman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half ROCHES were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Von Marrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Cote kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Quinton Riggs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Weston Barton skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Smacker booed when ROCHES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxwell Atwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weston Barton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Franklin in the 66th minute of play forced ROCHES's goalkeeper Weston Barton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blair Franklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weston Barton having to interfere. If Blair Franklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the game, Maxwell Atwood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROCHES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smacker the free kick. A collision led to ROCHES getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Maxwell Atwood hit a great ball. Weston Barton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Hager, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Carson Marrero kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Weston Barton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reggie Hager went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Von Marrero in the 85th minute of play forced Smacker's goalkeeper Ken Tillman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Smacker were victorious despite being under pressure from ROCHES for much of the match.
