Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Al Foreman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Trevor Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Putnam having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Mount Josh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donnie Rhodes to maneuver through the defense. Santiago McLeod blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norman Mims having to make a save. Trevor Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Armando Putnam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Antony Coulter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mount Josh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elmwood Place AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mount Josh's Antony Coulter got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alistair Byrne hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Armando Putnam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joseph Dunlap. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elmwood Place AFC's goalkeeper Norman Mims, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulysses Eubanks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Armando Putnam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alistair Byrne was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Mount Josh's Alistair Byrne got a free kick in the 40th minute. The nice shot from Ulysses Eubanks in the 44thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Armando Putnam had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Elmwood Place AFC's Norman Mims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago McLeod in the 46th minute of play. When Santiago McLeod came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mount Josh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago McLeod couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trevor Soto was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mount Josh's Santiago McLeod got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Elmwood Place AFC's Trevor Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Putnam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Soto in the 59th minute of play. Santiago McLeod sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trevor Soto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Elmwood Place AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trevor Soto couldn't finish the play. Norman Mims made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Santiago McLeod sent off a good shot on target. Al Foreman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Norman Mims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago McLeod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reed Eckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Mims having to interfere. Mount Josh were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Elmwood Place AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
