Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Ron Bannister started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the match, Dania's goalkeeper Jerold Ware had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reggie Hager. Ken Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thaddeus Bentley in the 14th minute of play. Ken Tillman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ron Bannister went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ray Jamison during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dania's Ray Jamison got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ken Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thaddeus Bentley in the 27th minute of play. Ron Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ken Tillman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Thaddeus Bentley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Bannister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Tillman having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Blair Reilly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smacker the free kick. After 34 played minutes Dania got a freekick which was hit by Blair Reilly. Jerold Ware made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reggie Hager in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blair Franklin to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Thaddeus Bentley lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Ken Tillman. Ken Tillman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dania were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Smacker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lincoln Arrington took the corner. In the 64th minute Ron Bannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Bannister in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Tillman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Bannister in the 71st minute of play forced Smacker's goalkeeper Ken Tillman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Smacker got a freekick which was hit by Erik Baldwin. Lincoln Arrington was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Odell Meyer kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Ron Bannister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Bannister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Thaddeus Bentley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ken Tillman, passed just outside the right post. Ron Bannister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Tillman having to interfere. If Ron Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Tillman made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Thaddeus Bentley sent off a good shot on target. Ken Tillman made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Casey Carroll sent off a good shot on target. If Ron Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Bannister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Bannister scored 1-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ken Tillman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dania walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
