Spectators: 6798 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 30) Al Foreman made the kick off and thus started the match. Tristan Pagan came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mount Josh's Al Foreman. But to his dismay, Al Foreman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Sedona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stacy Parra to maneuver through the defense. Whitney Whitlock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Armando Putnam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Putnam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Rader in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Santiago McLeod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Pagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Putnam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Rader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sedona AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Wade Sexton hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Mount Josh's Andrew Coats broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 37th minute, Alistair Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristan Pagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Foreman in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Santiago McLeod cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tristan Pagan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Armando Putnam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Whitney Whitlock, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Garth Rader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Putnam having to interfere. In the 56th minute of the match Andrew Coats sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristan Pagan skillfully saved the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Santiago McLeod had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tristan Pagan. Sedona AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago McLeod was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tristan Pagan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago McLeod in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Wade Sexton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Mount Josh got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Byrne. Pedro Matos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Santiago McLeod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Pagan having to interfere. After 92 minutes, Alistair Byrne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Josh and the Sedona AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sedona AFC booed when Mount Josh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Byrne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Whitney Whitlock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Armando Putnam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mount Josh's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
