Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elias Addison made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Elias Addison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilburton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Addison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Tillman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Addison in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Tillman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Erik Baldwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Garry Lawson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ken Tillman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Addison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Addison in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ken Tillman saved Smacker from getting behind. Angelo Mathis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Smacker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odell Meyer to maneuver through the defense. Garry Lawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Tillman having to interfere. After 39 minutes Smacker's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tyler Kearney who took care of the corner kick. If Elias Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Elias Addison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smacker's Ken Tillman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Angelo Mathis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reggie Hager in the 55th minute of the match. Blair Franklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Mathis having to interfere. A collision led to Wilburton FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gilbert James hit a great ball. Reggie Hager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Franklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Mathis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Smacker booed when Wilburton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Bridges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Addison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Addison scored 0-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ken Tillman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Hager in the 85th minute of play forced Wilburton FC's goalkeeper Angelo Mathis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Mathis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reggie Hager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, John Bridges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wilburton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Bridges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garry Lawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Smacker's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Elias Addison scored to the left of an out of position Ken Tillman, making the score, 0-2.
