The supporters of Iberia United booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes, Michael Wilkes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo's Odell Saunders tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Wilkes in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odell Saunders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Werner Brock kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Michael Wilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Odell Saunders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odell Saunders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Donaldson in the 19th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Ramiro Randall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romeo Gary tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Odell Saunders. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Odell Saunders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Wilkes in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Iberia United's Solomon Storey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Werner Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odell Saunders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wilkes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Michael Wilkes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Odell Saunders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Zack Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Stevenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Odell Saunders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Wilkes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Wilkes in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odell Saunders saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Wilkes was the one to do the kick off. Joseph Donaldson struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Odell Saunders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iberia United. Shane Jeffers kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. San Lorenzo's Odell Saunders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Donaldson in the 55th minute of play. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo's goalie prevented a goal. If Esteban Newcomb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Wilkes came free, but Odell Saunders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Solomon Storey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Michael Wilkes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odell Saunders was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
