The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcellus Whitt got free with Nelson McIntyre in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson McIntyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashad Dickens, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14th play minutes Silas Triplett shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tuan Hirsch and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Silas Triplett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prairie du Sac FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Triplett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuan Hirsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Prairie du Sac FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. James Gonzales hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Prairie du Sac FC's goalkeeper Nelson McIntyre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcellus Whitt. Silas Triplett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Josiah Carmichael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Hirsch. S & N Fairway FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josiah Carmichael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 43rd match minute, S & N Fairway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Little to maneuver through the defense. James Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Randall Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Hirsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Prairie du Sac FC booed when S & N Fairway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Pollock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Prairie du Sac FC's Duncan Paris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tuan Hirsch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prairie du Sac FC reached it. When Randall Camacho came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Prairie du Sac FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randall Camacho couldn't finish the play. Tuan Hirsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
