Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marlon McGinnis started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marlon McGinnis in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rod Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Henrietta's Maxwell McLaughlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Maxwell McLaughlin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Maxwell McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Neal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell McLaughlin in the 19th minute of the match. Maxwell McLaughlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Connor Hardin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Neal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Henrietta's zone, Domenic Trujillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rod Ortega came out of the goal and Domenic Trujillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Domenic Trujillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rod Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Henrietta's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon McGinnis came free, but Rod Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor Hardin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rod Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenic Trujillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Rod Ortega was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Marlon McGinnis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marlon McGinnis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Domenic Trujillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rod Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rod Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon McGinnis in the 58th minute of play. Rod Ortega didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After 65 played minutes, Henrietta's Cesar Longoria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Neal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Henrietta reached it. Marlon McGinnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maxwell McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rod Ortega made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Domenic Trujillo sent off a good shot on target. Jeremiah Nash scored 2-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Neal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Marlon McGinnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honolulu Frog Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlon McGinnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honolulu Frog Dogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
