The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro McGraw in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Domenec saved Leeds from getting behind. Dennis Zuniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro McGraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Santos Murray hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Pedro McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Kirby in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Leeds's goal looked a bit too open when Trenton Kirby came free, but Ramiro Domenec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro McGraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Domenec having to interfere. Andreas Ali hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trenton Kirby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. South Park Township's Claude Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Zuniga in the 54th minute of play. Pedro McGraw's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramiro Domenec firmly grabbed it by the left post. Trenton Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Pedro McGraw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Park Township's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro McGraw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, South Park Township's Trenton Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Domenec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trenton Kirby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Domenec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Joe Burkett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Leeds's goalkeeper Ramiro Domenec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro McGraw. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trenton Kirby in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Domenec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeds's goalkeeper Ramiro Domenec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trenton Kirby was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Pedro McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rocky Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the South Park Township fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rocky Curtis couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the South Park Township players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
