Jim Thorpe United's Monty Robertson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for White Oak AFC. In the 14th minute Marty Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enoch Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dominic Pierson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. White Oak AFC's Perry Patton managed to work through Jim Thorpe United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Perry Patton dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When White Oak AFC's Dominic Pierson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. White Oak AFC's Dominic Pierson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Vince Zavala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jim Thorpe United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Oak AFC the free kick. Vince Zavala kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Craig Swift to strike the kick off in the second half. Enoch Gallo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Garry Vogel sent off a good shot on target. Trent Moyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert Huff went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Swift in the 59th minute of play forced White Oak AFC's goalkeeper Enoch Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of White Oak AFC booed when Jim Thorpe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Swift didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trent Moyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rupert Huff's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Rupert Huff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jim Thorpe United's zone, Rupert Huff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trent Moyer came out of the goal and Rupert Huff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Pierson in the 76th minute of play forced Jim Thorpe United's goalkeeper Trent Moyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, White Oak AFC's Enoch Gallo got control of the ball when Garry Vogel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Craig Swift who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Oak AFC's Enoch Gallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Oak AFC's goalkeeper Enoch Gallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominic Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Trent Moyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garry Vogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Gallo having to interfere. Craig Swift received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Enoch Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
