Jonah Kramer's late challenge caught a Bostonia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonah Kramer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bostonia FC booed when Chicago Red Bandits FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonah Kramer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Mason Farley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Lowery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bostonia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jude Henderson in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Jude Henderson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chicago Red Bandits FC's Rusty Lowery did a great save. In the 8th minute, Allen McClelland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bostonia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Chicago Red Bandits FC's Rueben Johnston got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Allen McClelland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Mason Farley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rusty Lowery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Chicago Red Bandits FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonah Kramer to maneuver through the defense. Jude Henderson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rusty Lowery. Chicago Red Bandits FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Allen McClelland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Chicago Red Bandits FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mason Farley came free, but Rusty Lowery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Maurer might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rusty Lowery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Maurer ran back to his position shaking his head. Mason Farley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rusty Lowery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chicago Red Bandits FC defense, Kirby Root kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rusty Lowery. The Chicago Red Bandits FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rusty Lowery should have stopped the shot. If Mason Farley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wendell Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Voss having to interfere. If Wendell Belanger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 52nd minute Kip Nguyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Voss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rusty Lowery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allen McClelland went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes of play, Chicago Red Bandits FC's Kip Nguyen made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russ Voss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bostonia FC's Allen McClelland got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allen McClelland charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allen McClelland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chicago Red Bandits FC booed when Bostonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allen McClelland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirby Root recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Chicago Red Bandits FC's goalkeeper Rusty Lowery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allen McClelland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Belanger in the 95th minute of play forced Bostonia FC's goalkeeper Russ Voss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
