Hector McCormick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Moyer having to interfere. Trent Moyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Matthews in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Jim Thorpe United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Craig Swift hit a great ball. The referee ignored Jim Thorpe United's protests and gave Marty Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jim Thorpe United's Marty Reyes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Sydney Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, ARMENIA's Sydney Matthews nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trent Moyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Trent Moyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Matthews in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Santos Conn notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jim Thorpe United's Trent Moyer. Trent Moyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sydney Matthews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector McCormick struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Trent Moyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARMENIA. Terrance Kurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Boyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Moyer having to interfere.

The supporters of Jim Thorpe United booed when ARMENIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrance Kurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Marcellus Jewell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trent Moyer, passed just outside the right post. 54 minutes into the match, Jim Thorpe United's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Matthews came free, but Trent Moyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trent Moyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcellus Jewell in the 62nd minute of the match. ARMENIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Conn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trent Moyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sydney Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hector McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARMENIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector McCormick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trent Moyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over ARMENIA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jim Thorpe United throughout the match.
