Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Craig Abraham started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes in the game, Brendon Diggs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giovanni Walden having to interfere. Craig Abraham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Giovanni Walden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of East Orange booed when Bandon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Hodges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendon Diggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Craig Abraham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni Walden. Craig Abraham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Marquis Addison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquis Addison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Marquis Addison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reuben Busby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Jesus Chambers fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandon's protests and gave Jesus Chambers a yellow card for diving instead. Brendon Diggs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Giovanni Walden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 35 minutes into the game, East Orange's Brendon Diggs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Walden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Craig Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Craig Abraham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Craig Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marquis Addison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Reuben Busby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, East Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Holman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquis Addison in the 71st minute of play forced East Orange's goalkeeper Reuben Busby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Walden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Diggs in the 73rd minute of play. In the last second Reuben Busby throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marquis Addison in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Reuben Busby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Yu went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, East Orange's goalkeeper Reuben Busby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Yu. After a defensive mix-up in East Orange's zone, Johnny Yu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reuben Busby came out of the goal and Johnny Yu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Marquis Addison took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Reuben Busby to make any attempt to save it. If Brendon Diggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
