Del Jennings dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wiley Chung struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Terrence Mabry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otsego City. If Ward Barry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brock Donnelly scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Del Jennings, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Waylon Gentry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hector Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Otsego City booed when Sinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orville Davila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Tracey McClelland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sinton's Terrence Mabry didn't even have to move. Hector Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Terrence Mabry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ward Barry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Del Jennings having to interfere. Hector Huber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Waylon Gentry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Sinton's Emanuel Hobbs got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Huber in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terrence Mabry saved Sinton from getting behind. Sinton's Terrence Mabry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Huber in the 60th minute of play. Brock Donnelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Randell Swartz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otsego City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinton the free kick. A collision led to Otsego City getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Randell Swartz hit a great ball. Otsego City's Del Jennings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Donnelly in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Brock Donnelly took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Del Jennings to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Otsego City defense, Ward Barry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Del Jennings. The Otsego City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Del Jennings should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Waylon Gentry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otsego City's supporters rose to their feet, but Waylon Gentry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Terrence Mabry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sinton's Emanuel Hobbs got a free kick in the 96th minute. Waylon Gentry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Otsego City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sinton's performance. The match ended with a win for Sinton.
