Percy Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Werner Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Percy Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waylon Gentry in the 34th minute of the match. Werner Cohen's late challenge caught a Otsego City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Werner Cohen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Otsego City booed when San Martin SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Cohen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, San Martin SJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Hollandsworth to maneuver through the defense. Percy Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Huber, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Huber to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Cohen in the 53rd minute of play forced Otsego City's goalkeeper Del Jennings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Werner Cohen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Del Jennings was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The throw-in from Julio Starr in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Martin SJ's Mason Woodward. In the 73rd minute, Werner Cohen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to San Martin SJ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mason Woodward hit a great ball. Del Jennings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Cohen in the 79th minute of play. Del Jennings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Cohen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave San Martin SJ a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Werner Cohen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Otsego City's Del Jennings. 3-0. After some careless play in the Otsego City defense, Werner Cohen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Del Jennings. The Otsego City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Del Jennings should have stopped the shot. When Franklin Wilcox came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the San Martin SJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Wilcox couldn't finish the play. San Martin SJ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
