Fernando Scruggs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Craig Abraham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 9th minute, one of East Orange:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Orange. The referee gave Mora FC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter George, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of East Orange's Reuben Busby. 1-1. Reuben Busby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnnie Wilkinson went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, East Orange's goal looked a bit too open when Tad Coyle came free, but Reuben Busby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winford Ramey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Mora FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mora FC. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, East Orange's Olin Smallwood got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernando Scruggs. In the 31st match minute, Mora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter George to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Scruggs was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olin Smallwood. Reuben Busby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Spencer in the 35th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tad Coyle made the kick off in the second half. If Brendon Diggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Landon Jacobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mora FC's Tad Coyle got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes East Orange got a freekick which was hit by Wes Holman. Tad Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Busby having to interfere. East Orange's Reuben Busby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save East Orange from getting a goal against them. If Brendon Diggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mora FC's Fernando Scruggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Diggs in the 73rd minute of play. Craig Abraham took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Scruggs. Fernando Scruggs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 81st minute, Olin Smallwood sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mora FC's Fernando Scruggs didn't even have to move. If Craig Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Emerson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-4 in the 88th playminute. A collision led to Mora FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Landon Jacobs hit a great ball. After 96 minutes, Wes Holman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the East Orange and the Mora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mora FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
