Wes Dahlstrom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geoffrey Hurley kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Bandon's Marquis Addison ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wes Dahlstrom. Wes Dahlstrom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hans Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wes Dahlstrom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Addison in the 22nd minute of play. Johnny Yu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Wes Dahlstrom made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Romeo Golden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glen Carbon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 34 minutes of play, Glen Carbon's Romeo Golden made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Walden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giovanni Walden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Golden in the 38th minute of the match. Eusebio Hodges kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Terrence Elliot hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match D.J. Wills shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wes Dahlstrom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Wes Dahlstrom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Addison in the 53rd minute of play. Johnny Yu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Wes Dahlstrom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandon. Wes Dahlstrom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquis Addison, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Giovanni Walden was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Romeo Golden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romeo Golden really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 66 minutes into the game, Romeo Golden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni Walden. Romeo Golden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Giovanni Walden acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Reuben Lincoln. Hans Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Geoffrey Hurley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glen Carbon and the Bandon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Glen Carbon's Geoffrey Hurley got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Romeo Golden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glen Carbon's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Golden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Walden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Hans Cavazos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Romeo Golden came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Glen Carbon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Golden couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Yu in the 84th minute of play forced Glen Carbon's goalkeeper Wes Dahlstrom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Ross Redd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wes Dahlstrom skillfully saved the ball. Hans Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Romeo Golden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bandon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Glen Carbon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
