Luther Metzger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Lefler's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Tobias Anthony fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 40thth minute of the game Albert Lefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Hills FC's Luther Metzger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Stanley Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Sheep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanley Wolf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Russ Cornelius kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Stanley Wolf missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Luther Metzger right hand side. Oswaldo Stanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Luther Metzger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Anthony to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Albert Lefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luther Metzger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Blue Sheep's Albert Lefler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. A collision led to Blue Sheep getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ramiro Crabtree hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Blue Sheep's goal looked a bit too open when Tory McClain came free, but Porter North reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Blue Sheep got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Garcia. Porter North took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory McClain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Albert Lefler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luther Metzger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Albert Lefler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
