Luther Metzger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terrell Vargas in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Terrell Vargas could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Luther Metzger however easily saved by the left post. 17 minutes into the game, West Hills FC's Tory McClain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claude Doe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Terrell Vargas came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luther Metzger could save by the left post. Claude Doe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Anthony in the 23rd minute of play. Terrell Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. flasheros F.C's Claude Doe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory McClain in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to flasheros F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marvin Henley hit a great ball. If Tobias Anthony had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tory McClain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Doe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Anthony in the 38th minute of play. When Tobias Anthony fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Hills FC's protests and gave Tobias Anthony a yellow card for diving instead. Tobias Anthony hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Antonio Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terrell Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Anthony to make the kick off. West Hills FC's Tory McClain got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, flasheros F.C's Tuan Ashby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luther Metzger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Anthony in the 61st minute of play forced flasheros F.C's goalkeeper Claude Doe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luther Metzger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuan Ashby, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tuan Ashby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuan Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luther Metzger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, West Hills FC's Bob Bonds got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Tobias Anthony fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claude Doe, passed just outside the right post. Tobias Anthony sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tuan Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luther Metzger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrell Vargas in the 90th minute of play. Tory McClain might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Doe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tory McClain ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched West Hills FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
