Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) If Markus Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jess Messer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luther Metzger having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Markus Dawkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Richton AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tory McClain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lance Stallings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Markus Dawkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, West Hills FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Dawkins came free, but Luther Metzger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in West Hills FC's zone, Jess Messer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luther Metzger came out of the goal and Jess Messer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lance Stallings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Parish in the 29th minute of play. Ian Bynum hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tobias Anthony managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Hills FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Anthony was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Stallings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Tory McClain notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Richton AFC's Lance Stallings. Lance Stallings was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jess Messer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luther Metzger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Messer in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Richton AFC's Lance Stallings got control of the ball when Tory McClain tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in West Hills FC's zone, Markus Dawkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luther Metzger came out of the goal and Markus Dawkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tobias Anthony made the kick off in the second half. Keith Mohr hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Tory McClain came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the West Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tory McClain couldn't finish the play. Tory McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Stallings having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Jess Messer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luther Metzger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Russ Cornelius hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Tobias Anthony managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Hills FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Anthony was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Richton AFC's Ian Bynum got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lance Stallings stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Anthony's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Tory McClain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lance Stallings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West Hills FC's Luther Metzger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jess Messer in the 82nd minute of play. Richton AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
