Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Colin McGee took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubin McNeal in the 4th minute of play forced Wanderers's goalkeeper Lawrence Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Dyer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Wanderers's Giovanni Lyons broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 14th minute Roosevelt Light shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Post saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dyer's Anson Barnard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin McGee in the 30th minute of play. Colin McGee was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Wanderers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Miguel Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wanderers's Tory Vazquez got a free kick in the 36th minute. Lawrence Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubin McNeal in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roosevelt Light was the one to do the kick off. Lawrence Post showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roosevelt Light in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Rubin McNeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dyer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubin McNeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Miguel Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anson Barnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Dyer got a freekick which was hit by Francis Smith. In the 64th minute Miguel Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anson Barnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubin McNeal let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 66th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Colin McGee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anson Barnard having to interfere. Anson Barnard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin McGee, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rubin McNeal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lawrence Post made a huge save. After 80 played minutes Dyer got a freekick which was hit by Francis Smith. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanderers's goalkeeper Lawrence Post, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Anson Barnard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dyer players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Wanderers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
