Kasey Conway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Port au Voleurs's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Ashby came free, but Orville Herron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tuan Ashby came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the flasheros F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuan Ashby couldn't finish the play. Orville Herron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuan Ashby in the 12th minute of play. Terrell Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Orville Herron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of flasheros F.C booed when Port au Voleurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Oakley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Tuan Ashby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. flasheros F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuan Ashby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuan Ashby in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orville Herron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Eli Nava had to leave the field with a concussion. Port au Voleurs's Dillon Witt got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terrell Vargas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Orville Herron firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Tuan Ashby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orville Herron was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, flasheros F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otis Cummins to maneuver through the defense. Tuan Ashby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terrell Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orville Herron having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Antonio Cox could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Orville Herron however easily saved by the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dillon Witt made the kick off in the second half. If Dillon Witt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Marvin Henley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuan Ashby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Herron having to interfere. Terrell Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Herron having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Tuan Ashby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orville Herron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. flasheros F.C's Tuan Ashby got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orville Herron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuan Ashby, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Terrell Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Dillon Witt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claude Doe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. flasheros F.C's Claude Doe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Stark in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th match minute, flasheros F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Henley to maneuver through the defense. Dillon Witt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Port au Voleurs players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
