Markus Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Strickland having to interfere. If Markus Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Besëlidhja Lezhë got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Clifford. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Markus Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Dawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Strickland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Besëlidhja Lezhë got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Clifford. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Dawkins in the 26th minute of play forced Besëlidhja Lezhë's goalkeeper Rex Strickland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jess Messer made a kick off. Lance Stallings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Grant in the 54th minute of the match. Mason Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mason Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezra Lockhart in the 66th minute of play forced Richton AFC's goalkeeper Lance Stallings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Dawkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dallas Dow fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besëlidhja Lezhë's protests and gave Dallas Dow a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Besëlidhja Lezhë was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dallas Dow to maneuver through the defense. Darryl Garner's late challenge caught a Besëlidhja Lezhë's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darryl Garner helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
