After 12 minutes, Mario Madison made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sauk Rapids AFC's Lonnie Medina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute of the match, Len Walton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lonnie Medina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute, Mario Madison made a precise shot to the right of Lonnie Medina. Sauk Rapids AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Len Walton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Madison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lonnie Medina made a huge save. Mario Madisons short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Lonnie Medina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 27 minutes of play, ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆'s Mario Madison made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lonnie Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 32 minutes, Geoffrey Thacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauk Rapids AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Thacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Sauk Rapids AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Len Walton came free, but Lonnie Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sauk Rapids AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kip Gould hit a great ball. Lonnie Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Walton in the 53rd minute of the match. Rolf Bonds's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilho Korpisalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Sauk Rapids AFC's Lonnie Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Madison in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sauk Rapids AFC defense, Mario Madison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lonnie Medina. The Sauk Rapids AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lonnie Medina should have stopped the shot. Mario Madison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Sauk Rapids AFC booed when ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derick Whitney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rolf Bonds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauk Rapids AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Bonds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilho Korpisalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lonnie Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Madison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Ellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Madison struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Lonnie Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Preston Mejia might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilho Korpisalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Preston Mejia ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ward Groves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
