Minnesota Macabre's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Renteria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lonnie Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enoch Lynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Enoch Lynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnesota Macabre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enoch Lynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sauk Rapids AFC's Lonnie Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Renteria in the 27th minute of play. Rolf Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sheffield having to interfere. After a good free kick, Geoffrey Thacker got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Minnesota Macabre.
