Umbrella's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Lovett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Kirkland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sung Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Vicente Kirkland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ace Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Trimble made a kick off. Sung Flynn's late challenge caught a Umbrella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sung Flynn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Umbrella booed when Bridgton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Sydney Harrington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Kirkland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ollie William scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Kirkland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Umbrella's Ollie William nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Kirkland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After some careless play in the Bridgton FC defense, Mickey Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Kirkland. The Bridgton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Kirkland should have stopped the shot. Pedro Trimble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Tilley having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Umbrella's Jason Lovett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Kirkland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. There was no doubt that Umbrella were the better team. Umbrella's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
