To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Mohammad Moody was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Philadelphia Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HBG Knoxville the free kick. Mohammad Moody kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in HBG Knoxville's zone, Conrad Reilly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Cooke came out of the goal and Conrad Reilly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Reuben Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lorenzo Cooke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmund MacDonald hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, HBG Knoxville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrod Salazar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund MacDonald in the 37th minute of play forced HBG Knoxville's goalkeeper Lorenzo Cooke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Cooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmer McCord, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Philadelphia Eagles booed when HBG Knoxville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Witherspoon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reuben Young hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jamal Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Donaldson in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Palmer McCord stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamal Morales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Scottie Reaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Philadelphia Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scottie Reaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmund MacDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Cooke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play.
