Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Coleman in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglass Meyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes Ossian AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darin Mims. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Coleman in the 22nd minute of play forced Ossian AFC's goalkeeper Douglass Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Ossian AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darin Mims. Douglass Meyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Trimble's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Bernardo Goins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Kirkland made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Bernardo Goins sent off a good shot on target. When Mickey Romano came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ossian AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Romano couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Goins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vicente Kirkland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Sung Flynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridgton FC and the Ossian AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ossian AFC booed when Bridgton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Kirkland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickey Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Trimble made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ossian AFC's goalkeeper Douglass Meyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Coleman. 52 minutes into the match, Ossian AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Trimble came free, but Douglass Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ossian AFC's Bernardo Goins managed to work through Bridgton FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bernardo Goins dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience was convinced that Mickey Romano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Kirkland was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Bryan Coleman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Douglass Meyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgton FC. A collision led to Ossian AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Darin Cardona hit a great ball. 62 minutes in the game, Pedro Trimble got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. Everett Sawyer kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Douglass Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Trimble, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Darin Cardona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bridgton FC's Vicente Kirkland didn't even have to move. 73 minutes into the match, Bridgton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Goins came free, but Vicente Kirkland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickey Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Bernardo Goins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Kirkland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Goins went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Darin Mims fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ossian AFC's protests and gave Darin Mims a yellow card for diving instead. Darin Mims kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Bryan Coleman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Douglass Meyer made a huge save.
