The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Philadelphia Eagles booed when Jah Guide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Skaggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonso Coley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Reilly in the 13th minute of play. Philadelphia Eagles's Jamal Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerold Gonzalez in the 15th minute of play. Palmer McCord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alonso Coley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Aldo Hensley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jah Guide FC's Nathaniel Stein got a free kick in the 21st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammad Moody couldn't finish the play. If Edmund MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Jah Guide FC's goal looked a bit too open when Palmer McCord came free, but Alonso Coley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Palmer McCord made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Palmer McCord got free with Alonso Coley in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonso Coley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Reilly in the 54th minute of play. Edmund MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Coley having to interfere. When Scottie Reaves came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Philadelphia Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scottie Reaves couldn't finish the play. Edmund MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Coley having to interfere. Edmund MacDonald who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Alonso Coley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Warner Rowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Coley having to interfere. Jah Guide FC's Alonso Coley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Reilly in the 82nd minute of play. Edmund MacDonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonso Coley having to make a save. After recieving a nice pass, Philadelphia Eagles's Palmer McCord tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Asher Rader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Coley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Jah Guide FC's Jerold Gonzalez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamal Morales was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Philadelphia Eagles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jah Guide FC.
