Sung Flynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Kitchen having to interfere. In the 14th minute Pedro Trimble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Kitchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Jessie Bolton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woods Cross FC and the Bridgton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Woods Cross FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jessie Bolton hit a great ball. Billy Braswell hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bryan Coleman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Kitchen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Trimble blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregory Kitchen having to make a save. Jake Henson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Bridgton FC got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Roach. Vicente Kirkland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Henson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Henson might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Kirkland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jake Henson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mel Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Kirkland having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Woods Cross FC got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Goodson. 45 minutes into the game, Mel Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vicente Kirkland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Trimble to make the kick off. Woods Cross FC's Gregory Kitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Coleman in the 59th minute of play. Jake Henson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match Mel Souza climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Vicente Kirkland. Mel Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Kirkland having to make a save. Bryan Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jake Henson succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 87 played minutes Bridgton FC got a freekick which was hit by Sung Flynn. Woods Cross FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
