Basil Merchant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Mormons FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Lester to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Umbrella's Larry Luke tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Woody Andrews hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mormons FBC booed when Umbrella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Woody Andrews didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Oren Broussard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mormons FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oren Broussard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sid Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Tilley having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Ace Talbot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bret Hedrick. The goal made the score 2-0. Ace Talbot struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bret Hedrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umbrella. Bret Hedrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ace Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Ace Talbot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bret Hedrick. The goal made the score 4-0. Alfred Lockwood hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Bruce Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Tilley having to interfere. Mormons FBC's Bret Hedrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mormons FBC from getting a goal against them. Sydney Harrington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bret Hedrick made a huge save. Sydney Harrington kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Woody Andrews missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Bret Hedrick right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Randy Randolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Mormons FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Mickey Hutton came free, but Bret Hedrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Harrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bret Hedrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickey Hutton struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bret Hedrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umbrella. A collision led to Mormons FBC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sterling Libby hit a great ball. Sydney Harrington hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Bret Hedrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Hutton in the 80th minute of play. If Sydney Harrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Mickey Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Hedrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umbrella's Mickey Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bret Hedrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Harrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ted Mullen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bret Hedrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickey Hutton's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
