Mickey Romano started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ossian AFC's Kareem Ryder got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Jerold Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Jah Guide FC's Jerold Gonzalez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Ossian AFC's Mickey Romano in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alonso Coley guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Douglass Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerold Gonzalez in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Jeffrey Skaggs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jerold Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Douglass Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Ossian AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Coats to maneuver through the defense. Jeffrey Skaggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonso Coley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mickey Romano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, Ossian AFC's Bernardo Goins made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonso Coley was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Mickey Romano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonso Coley was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerold Gonzalez was the one to do the kick off. Ward Walls hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerold Gonzalez in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglass Meyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darin Mims's late challenge caught a Jah Guide FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darin Mims helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Nichols kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Douglass Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Gonzalez in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Mickey Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Coley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeffrey Skaggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Goins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 80th playminute. If Jerold Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ossian AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
