Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donovan Washburn kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Manitou Springs FC defense, Leon Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darren Pulliam. The Manitou Springs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darren Pulliam should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Robbie Vernon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darren Pulliam was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Darren Pulliam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Vernon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jed Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Fowler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jed Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Washburn in the 16th minute of play. Leon Robinson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Xavier Mims in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jed Norman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jed Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Washburn in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazaro Lynn got free with Jed Norman in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jed Norman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Xavier Mims sent off a good shot on target. Jed Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donovan Washburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Lazaro Lynn could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Jed Norman however easily saved by the left post. After the first half Los Burritos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Vernon to strike the kick off in the second half. Melvin Montano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darren Pulliam having to make a save. After 62 played minutes Manitou Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Brewer. Darren Pulliam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Vernon in the 64th minute of the match. Robbie Vernon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Xavier Mims managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manitou Springs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Mims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jed Norman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darren Pulliam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Vernon's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Manitou Springs FC's Darren Pulliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Vernon in the 75th minute of play. Jed Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Mims in the 78th minute of play. 0-6 became the score in the 79th minute when Robbie Vernon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Washburn in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Burritos's goalkeeper Jed Norman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Mervin Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes of play, Manitou Springs FC's Donovan Washburn made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jed Norman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Burritos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
