The coaching staff of Alfonsina Storni protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Monty Weston had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Alfonsina Storni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of dracko f.c:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for dracko f.c. Odell Baca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Wetzel. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Odell Hartley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfonsina Storni's supporters rose to their feet, but Odell Hartley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Blount breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mervin Ferris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonsina Storni's Roberto Wetzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Blackburn in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Alfonsina Storni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Donnelly to maneuver through the defense. If Mervin Ferris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Odell Hartley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alonzo Blount made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Odell Hartley sent off a good shot on target. Tyrone Blackburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roberto Wetzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alfonsina Storni getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Connor Donnelly hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Alfonsina Storni defense, Mervin Ferris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Wetzel. The Alfonsina Storni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Wetzel should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyrone Blackburn was the one to do the kick off. Roberto Wetzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Blackburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mervin Ferris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odell Hartley charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odell Hartley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Odell Hartley kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Alfonsina Storni booed when dracko f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonsina Storni's zone, Tyrone Blackburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Wetzel came out of the goal and Tyrone Blackburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Josef McMahon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. dracko f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfonsina Storni the free kick. Josef McMahon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Odell Hartley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in dracko f.c's zone, Odell Hartley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Blount came out of the goal and Odell Hartley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. dracko f.c walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
