Los Burritos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shazam FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Shazam FC defense, Robbie Vernon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merle Spicer. The Shazam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merle Spicer should have stopped the shot. Merle Spicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Vernon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Shazam FC's zone, Robbie Vernon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merle Spicer came out of the goal and Robbie Vernon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shazam FC's Merle Spicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Vernon in the 15th minute of play. Merle Spicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Vernon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Shazam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Vernon came free, but Merle Spicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Varner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Shazam FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rhett Faulk hit a great ball. Jed Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sherman Larson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When %teams%'s Melvin Montano was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 26 minutes into the game. Merle Spicer was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The Los Burritos fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute, Octavio Varner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Shazam FC defense, Melvin Montano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merle Spicer. The Shazam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merle Spicer should have stopped the shot. Merle Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Vernon in the 44th minute of play. Merle Spicer was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Robbie Vernon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robbie Vernon really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Dillon Trotter made the kick off in the second half. Mickey Whitman hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Robbie Vernon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merle Spicer having to make a save. Merle Spicer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Vernon in the 61st minute of the match. Robbie Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robbie Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Merle Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jed Norman was a little too slow when Sherman Larson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 6-1. Merle Spicer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Varner went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Shazam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Varner came free, but Merle Spicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merle Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Vernon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhett Faulk's late challenge caught a Los Burritos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rhett Faulk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Burritos booed when Shazam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhett Faulk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Burritos's Rodrick Shaw got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merle Spicer came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon. But to his dismay, Robbie Vernon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. After 90 minutes of play, Los Burritos's Robbie Vernon made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merle Spicer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Los Burritos's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrell Dickey came free, but Jed Norman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Burritos fully deserved thier win.
