Ned Blackwell struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tyrell Beatty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherry Splitters. Lamar Kyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jerrod Phillips tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Albert Hamilton hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Jess Bryson rounded Dorchester Fun's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Jerrod Phillips made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Ritter in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cherry Splitters's goalkeeper Jerrod Phillips, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Lamar Kyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrell Beatty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ned Blackwell in the 76th minute. Darius Dodge hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The Cherry Splitters fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Cherry Splitters's Ned Blackwell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cherry Splitters had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
