Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerrod Crabtree kicked off to start the match. Jerrod Crabtree fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rashad Jacob having to interfere. Rashad Jacob came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Retamoso FC's Bob Tinsley. But to his dismay, Bob Tinsley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Linden United's Rashad Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrod Crabtree in the 12th minute of play. Rashad Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from DeAndre Brantley, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Brant Benson's late challenge caught a Retamoso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brant Benson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Linden United's Brant Benson got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Jerrod Crabtree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashad Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Linden United getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Salvador Chester hit a great ball. Jerrod Crabtree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Jerrod Crabtree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashad Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Barrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Zachery Ayers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Salvador Chester was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linden United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Retamoso FC the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Linden United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Chester to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Altman to strike the kick off in the second half. Bob Tinsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rashad Jacob having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Jerrod Crabtree got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rashad Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Tinsley in the 75th minute of the match. DeAndre Brantley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rashad Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bob Tinsley came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Retamoso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Tinsley couldn't finish the play. During the 84th minute of the match Salvador Chester completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Salvador Chester a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th minute, Salvador Chester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashad Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeAndre Brantley in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Retamoso FC booed when Linden United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Barrow didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Rashad Jacob, was totally fooled by Retamoso FC's Parker Ivy, who 100 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
